#visions

After being in the fashion, entertainment and visual branding industries for years, I decided it was time to branch out on my own in terms of conceptual art. I found fashion to be incredibly inspiring and surprisingly universal. The clothing we wear tell our story- in a language of vibrancy, colour, emotion and thought.

The series #visions came to me at the end of 2014, with the idea of focusing on one paramount designer who had and continues still to shape the medium as a whole- Miuccia Prada embodies a multitude of creative #visions like few manage to touch in history. While this project was conceived in 2014 as with most projects the way through morphs, so while this began on paper in 2016, as one idea it fully formed into another, as most art can do, surprise our own mirrored reflection. After studying Ms. Prada's work, I can only try and do her justice and as this project continues looking at Prada and Miu Miu I look forward to continuing this as the year of capturing a bit of magic and play just as Miuccia Prada has done.
